STUDY: ONLINE RESEARCH PROMPTS IN-STORE PURCHASES

Fifty-one percent of consumers research products they're interested in purchasing online, but then travel to the store to buy them, a recent study by Forrester Research revealed. The No. 1 reason shoppers headed to the store instead of buying online was: "I want the product immediately." About 42% of respondents said they preferred to see a product before buying it.
