Total Ozone Mapping Spectrometer (TOMS)

General Overview

Global data derived from the Total Ozone Mapping Spectrometer (TOMS) instrument on the Earth Probe satellite, consisting of daily values of aerosol index, ozone and reflectivity remapped into a regular 1x1.25 deg grid. Users of these data should acknowledge the support of the NASA Goddard Ozone Processing Team. Similar data may also be found from the Ozone Monitoring Instrument (OMI).

The following measurements are those considered scientifically relevant. Refer to the netCDF File Header Descriptions (Data Object Design Files) for the list of all available measurements, including those recorded for diagnostic or quality assurance purposes.
