Current Projects:
Developing a web application for dissemination of national USGS real-time water quality data, including real-time estimates based on regression models.

Real-time water-quality monitoring of several Maryland rivers.

Developing dynamic web application for automated presentation of recent and historic surface-water inflow rates to the Chesapeake Bay.

Research Interests:

• Developing dynamic web applications to provide acccess to USGS data for both the scientific community and general public.
• Use of new sensor technologies and data analysis for real-time water-quality monitoring.
• Aqueous geochemistry and karst hydrogeology
• Geology teaching and outreach.
