Strategic Areas of Focus
Make sure your proposal considers our strategy.
The better you tailor your proposal to fit our strategy, the better the chances that the United States Postal Service can consider it. Here is a sample of areas that your ideas and proposals could focus on:

Address Management: We offer services that help enhance address quality and mail hygiene. We are searching for innovative ways to add to or improve these services.

Advertising, Licensing/USPS Brand Management, Public Affairs: Anything that relates to promoting, presenting and leveraging the USPS brand to the public would fit in this area. This includes advertising, marketing and public relations initiatives.

Product Management/Core Services/Product Development: Proposals that address our traditional services and new product development would fall in this area. Things like expedited shipping services, package services, and even Extra Services, such as confirmation, receipts, tracking, proof of mailing, or new concepts would fit here.

Financial Services: Ideas that create new or enhance existing products or services related to money or financial transactions. Also applicable here would be USPS internal financial cash management or investing opportunities.

Human Resources: Opportunities to enhance or initiate programs involving training, employee development, or services related to the workforce.

Operations/Logistics: Ways to cut costs, outsource or anything relative to core USPS infrastructure and the running of operations.
