GSA Advantage!® Simplifies Shopping

GSA Advantage!®  is a one-stop, online shopping resource for millions of supplies (products) and services, including, but not limited to: Information Technology (IT), office products, tools, hardware, medical equipment, and furniture.

The system is designed to facilitate shopping, as well as market research. GSA Advantage!®  allows users to:

  • Search by keyword;
  • Browse by category;
  • Use a powerful advanced search;
  • Research and purchase items;
  • View order history;
  • Check the status of orders;
  • Reorder; and
  • Park and email carts while shopping.

Using GSA Advantage!®  ensures that customers are getting GSA awarded prices and dealing with GSA sources. Mandatory sources, like AbilityOne (formerly JWOD), NIB/NISH, and UNICOR, are listed. For users with IT assistive devices, GSA Advantage!® is Section 508 compliant.

In addition to browsing by general categories, GSA Advantage!®  allows customers to identify products and services under a number of specialty categories, including:

  • Homeland Security;
  • Disaster Relief;
  • Environmental; and
  • Wildland Fire.

There is no cost to access GSA Advantage!®. Ordering activities may pay for purchases using:

  • A governmentwide commercial purchase card (GSA SmartPay®);
  • A GSA Activity Address Code (AAC); or
  • A Department of Defense Activity Address Code (DoDAAC) (limited to purchases of GSA Global Supply items).

State and local government entities may now use GSA Advantage!® to purchase products and services under both the Cooperative Purchasing Program and the Disaster Recovery Purchasing Program. Payments for state and local government purchases on GSA Advantage!® are limited to credit card payments using a state or local government issued credit card.
