Welcome to the Kids' Health Website

Governor Beshear and his grandson Nick. When my boys were growing up, I would have done anything to make sure they stayed healthy and I know you would do the same for your family.

As a parent, you do everything you can to protect your children. That includes giving them the best health care possible.

Unfortunately, high health care costs prevent some children from receiving the medical attention they need. Currently, there are over 67,000 Kentucky children who are qualified to receive care through the Kentucky Children’s Health Insurance Program (KCHIP) or Medicaid but are not yet enrolled.

The Commonwealth of Kentucky is increasing its efforts to reach out to children who qualify for these programs. Our children are our greatest promise, and all children deserve excellent health care regardless of their economic situation. There is no better time than now to do what is right for them.

I hope you will join me, the Cabinet for Health and Family Services, and the Kids’ Health Squad as we work together to ensure a brighter future for all of Kentucky! Let’s work together and change Kentucky one healthy child at a time!

Sincerely,

KCHIP
