Nominate Green Power leaders for EPA award
The nomination period opens May 5 for the 2009 Green Power Leadership Awards! Sponsored by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), and the Center for Resource Solutions (CRS), the Green Power Leadership Awards are competitive awards that recognize outstanding commitments and achievements in the green power marketplace. Secretary Chu Announces $93 Million from Recovery Act to Support Wind Energy Projects
In an ongoing effort to expand domestic renewable energy, U.S. Secretary of Energy Steven Chu announced plans to provide $93 million from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act to support further development of wind energy in the United States during a visit to the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) today.
