Service is limited to letters in the usual form, Braille letters for the blind, postcards, and printed matter items sent as First-Class Mail International, International Priority Airmail (IPA) or International Surface Air Lift (ISAL) mailings. Priority Mail International parcel service is not available, but the Priority Mail International Flat-Rate Envelope may be mailed. Prior to mailing, customers need to contact the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) in the U.S. Department of the Treasury for general provisions governing U.S. Department of the Treasury sanctions and for comprehensive information about goods and service that may not be imported to or exported from Cuba.

Israel
The Postal Administration of Israel has advised that the transfer of all mail into the Gaza Strip has been temporarily suspended due to the current situation in the Gaza Strip and southern Israel. Delivery of mail in southern Israel is subject to delays.

Italy
The postal administration of Italy has advised that many people living in the affected by the earthquake in central Italy have moved to hotels on the coast or are staying with relatives and friends away from the earthquake zone. Before sending letters, parcels or EMS items, senders should check where the addressees are actually based in order to allow quick delivery of their items to their new addresses and, above all, to avoid unnecessary storage of postal items in the mobile offices serving the tent camps in the earthquake zone.

Delivery of Letter Post items: Letter-post items addressed to the city of L’Aquila and other affected villages are being delivered directly to the tent camps. A special post office is currently collecting the names of people still living in tents in order to facilitate the delivery process.

The postal administration of Italy has advised that items bearing this address will be delivered by the mobile offices directly to the addressees, provided that the addressee’s mobile phone number is clearly indicated on the item. If the phone number is not indicated, items bearing the address referenced above will be returned to sender directly from the office of exchange. All customs declarations must be accurately completed in order to ensure rapid processing of parcels and EMS items.

The postal administration of Italy advises that postal services are operating as normal in other cities of the same region (Chieti, Pescara and Teramo), which were not affected by the earthquake.
