Patricia Arriagada, Country Manager, Latin American and the Caribbean Region
Patricia Arriagada currently serves as the Country Manager for the Latin America and Caribbean region at the U.S. Trade and Development Agency (USTDA). In this capacity, she is responsible for business development, project preparation and evaluation, and supervision of USTDA activities in the Andean and Caribbean countries.
Prior to joining USTDA in December 2008, Ms. Arriagada was Regional Sales Manager for Brazil and Mexico for Beacon Electronics Associates, a sales firm representing leading semiconductor manufacturers in the telecom industry. In that capacity, she coordinated technical sales efforts with Asian, European, and U.S. sales and marketing teams in Latin American markets. Ms. Arriagada also managed logistics and planning for both supplier and customer production facilities in Malaysia, Mexico, Brazil, Japan, and the U.S.
Ms. Arriagada holds a Master's Degree in Business Administration, with a concentration in International Business from The George Washington University. She earned a Bachelor's Degree in International Business from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She speaks Portuguese and Spanish.
