Knowledge Management (KM)

"Management Knowledge to support TPLC in the information age."

KM Goals

Use TPLC pilots as needs assessments

Become an independent source of information on devices and radiological health

Leverage to create, share, and use knowledge

Become an "e-Center" in five years

Successful Implementation of KM will mean:

Building a knowledge culture and restructuring incentives to encourage more sharing of knowledge

Developing standard templates converting information to knowledge thus reducing redundancy.

Accessing standard records in the Center's Knowledge Management systems so knowledge needed for decision-making is current and accessible.

Developing database tools to support specific Knowledge Management initiatives.

Using inside and outside experts.
