Where You Live
Over 23,500 communities in America have access to curbside or drop off paper recycling programs, according to a 2005 survey conducted by the American Forest & Paper Association (AF&PA). There are several ways to learn about recycling programs where you live:
- Visit EPA’s Wastes where you live page, which provides links to state-by-state solid waste information.
- For information on successful paper recycling implementations across the country, read success stories for communities, schools, offices, and colleges and universities.
- Visit Earth911 and enter your ZIP code to find local information, including the locations of recycling facilities and drop-off centers near you.
- Use the Recycling Container Locator to find a drop off location to recycle paper in your community.
