Western owns, operates and maintains all or a portioon of seven transmission lines in California's Sacramento Valley. The Environmental Assessment is being prepared for transmission line and right-of-way maintenance activities, including vegetation management and access road maintenance. Regular maintenance of transmission lines, towers and access roads is essential to minimize fire and safety hazards, transmission line damage and outages. Access road maintenance may include vegetation removal and road repairs to allow equipment access to transmission lines and towers. Project Update:
