ATF Investigates Fires Allegedly Set by ELF

The ATF Seattle Field Division continues to investigate the fires at the “Street of Dreams” luxury home development in Woodinville, Wash., near Seattle. Individuals affiliating themselves with the Earth Liberation Front (ELF) have claimed responsibility for the fires that occurred on March 3rd. ATF, FBI and local investigators thoroughly searched the scene for evidence in pursuit of additional investigative leads. An ATF certified fire investigator completed measurements of the scenes and took investigative photographs of the locations. The fires have been ruled arson. ATF, FBI and local investigators are following numerous leads in an effort to bring those responsible to justice. ATF has decades of experience investigating fires and is responsible for enforcing the federal arson statutes.
