CTTSO: Combating Terrorism Technical Support Office

International Partners

To defeat globally connected terror groups, the U.S. must cooperate with our allies in the development of capabilities to combat terrorism.

International cooperation allows CTTSO to leverage foreign experience, expertise, and resources in the fight against terrorists and their infrastructure by working with our allies in the Global War on Terrorism.

The CTTSO has been authorized by Congress to pursue cooperative relationships in the areas of combating terrorism research and development with foreign governments. Agreements with Israel, Canada, and the United Kingdom were instituted in the mid-90s and have yielded impressive successes. Agreements with Australia and Singapore were added in 2006.
