Current Portfolio/Responsibilities:
As the Director of the Liver and Biliary Program and the Pancreas program in the
Division of Digestive Disease and Nutrition (DDDN), NIDDK, NIH, my
responsibilities are to provide scientific management, programmatic and fiscal planning,
development, implementation, administration and assessment of research objectives in
liver and pancreas diseases within the DDDN, NIDDK and collaborate with other
Institutes and Agencies. Project Scientist for the Drug Induced Liver Injury Network, a
multi site clinical study on drug and complementary and alternative medicines- induced
hepatotoxicity.
