  • The forecasts are automated and computer generated from meteorological models with no input from forecasters.

  • THE PRODUCTS ARE NOT UPDATED ... They are issued once daily following the morning computer runs (1200 UTC) and generally available for posting by 1530 UTC.

  • These products are being posted to test the automated posting process and prepare the way for more testing and evaluation of the product. All of the soaring area forecasts will not remain at this Internet URL after the test and evaluation period. But those moved from this address will be accessible from the appropriate NWS County Warning and Forecast Area homepage at that time. E.g., Bishop will available through the NWS Las Vegas Office, etc.
