Governor Huntsman Orders Flags at Half Staff for Orton Funeral

Salt Lake City - Utah Governor Jon Huntsman has authorized the Flag of the United States of America and the Flag of the State of Utah to be lowered in honor of Former United States Congressman, Bill Orton."Bill represented the state with true professionalism during his tenure in Congress. It was our family's great privilege to know Bill and his wonderful family for many years. Our hearts and prayers are extended to his wife Jacquelyn, and their two sons, Will and Wes, during this very painful period."
The flags shall be flown at half-staff on all state-owned facilities from sunrise until sunset on Friday, April 24, 2009.
