The U.S. Chamber of Commerce's Global Intellectual Property Center (GIPC) today released its U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) Recommendations to President-elect Barack Obama and the 111th Congress. The report, which covers 11 areas, highlights reforms needed to modernize the federal agency's patent arm. The recommendations were presented to the transition team this morning and unveiled at a roundtable with USPTO Intellectual Property Attachés from around the world.
