On March 13th a presentation on "Going Green," was given to fourth grade students at Marquette Elementary School located in Madison, Wisconsin.  Jan Beitlich, Administrative Technician with the La Crosse Fish Health Center led the discussion on recycling and reusing our resources to approximately twenty-five children.  Following the discussion the students participated in making fish and aquatic animal prints onto cloth bags.  The bags were to be sold at their school bazaar at the end of March.  L a Crosse Fish Health Center "Go Green" water bottles and frisbees were also handed out and were to be used for the classroom's annual camping trip the following week.  A little green cookie treat helped to put a smile on their faces as well!
