The Pendills Creek/Sullivan Creek National Fish Hatchery Complex received a major surplus property transfer, a Case W 14 front-end loader from Seney National Wildlife Refuge.

The hatchery complex has been in need of a large front-end loader for a number of years to aid in snow removal.  This remote area is known for snow pack in the winter with outdoor winter activities such as snowmobiling and cross country skiing being very popular.

Most years, snow depths can achieve several feet in depth and this front-end loader will help out the hatchery complex significantly in moving and piling snow.
