In June, Duane Simpson celebrated two years with the Iron River National Fish Hatchery. 

Simpson is working at the hatchery under the state funded Experience Works program.  He has kept the hatchery afloat with maintaining the grounds, fixing everything the biologists keep breaking and building several needed new items. 

Simpson actually grew up on the hatchery property before it was sold to the U. S. Fish and Wildlife Service and worked with the contractors as they were testing and building the hatchery.
