This meeting was held to discuss a proposed programmatic formal consultation addressing fire management program actions and the black-capped vireo on the Wichita Mountains National Wildlife Refuge.  Specifically discussed, was the outline of the programmatic formal consultation process, potential impacts, the data needs, avoidance and minimization measures, and much more.  Representatives from various agencies spent time visiting various sites on the refuge making up portions of the black-capped vireo’s habitat on the refuge.
