David Weaver, 04/21/2007, OSU Students at Horseshoe Lake on Little River NWR.

Craig Davis, Assistant Professor of Wildlife Ecology from Oklahoma State University, along with 15 students in his wetlands course met with WRS David Weaver on April 21, 2007 to explore and discuss the management programs on the refuge.  The field trip provided an opportunity for the students to learn about the resource management techniques being utilized on the refuge and to see oxbow lakes, cypress sloughs and ephemeral wetlands found throughout the bottomland hardwood forest.
