Journal Entry   Back FWS provides presentation on ESA to Southern Arizona Home Builders Association Southwest Region, March 13, 2007 Print Friendly Version The Assistant Field Supervisor for the Tucson Suboffice provided a presentation to the Southern Arizona Home Builders Association on sections 7 and 10 of the ESA.  Key discussions centered on how these two sections of the ESA would be implemented if the Clean Water Act section 402 program were to be returned to the Environmental Protection Agency following a ruling from the Supreme Court this year.  The Construction General Permit issued under section 402 allows the EPA to accept a HCP as compliance under the ESA.  Therefore, the draft HCPs for Pima County, City of Tucson, and Town of Marana, when permitted, could serve this purpose and streamline the process.
