The Prairie Wetlands Learning Center hosted  a Certification Courser for Minnesota Trappers on February 2. The course is required in Minnesota for anyone born after December 1989 who wishes to obtain a Minnesota trappers license.

The course attracted 20 attendees, and was conducted by the Minnesota Trappers Association, a non-profit organization that promotes the participation and heritage of trapping.

Attendees ranged in age from 12 to senior citiezens, and were most appreciative of a course held locally and at a Fish and Wildlife facility.
