David Weaver, 09/05/2006, Refuge Booth at McCurtain County Fair.

The 2006 McCurtain County Fair was held on September 5-9, 2006 at the McCurtain County Fair Grounds in Idabel, Oklahoma.  WRS Weaver and AT Burris staffed the Refuge booth providing environmental education materials, brochures, posters, junior refuge manager badges and other trinkets.  The booth was a very popular stop for children, and the refuge was awarded the blue ribbon for best decorated booth.  It is estimated that over 2000 folks visited the booth during the five day event.
