New Web Page for the Midwest Driftless Area Restoration Effort
Midwest Region, January 13, 2006
Print Friendly Version

At the request of the La Crosse Fishery Resources Office, Frank Stone developed an Internet web page for the Midwest Driftless Area Restoration Effort.  The intent of this web site is to inform our Internet audience of this program and the work being conducted by the LaCrosse Office.

With text and graphics provided by Louise Mauldin, Frank developed the web site to help describe five summary project proposals submitted for 2006.  The web site can be viewed by pointing your Internet browser to:  http://www.fws.gov/midwest/LaCrosseFisheries/projects/Driftless.html

The Midwest Driftless Area Restoration Effort is a geographically-focused, locally-driven, consensus-based effort to protect, restore, and enhance riparian and aquatic habitat throughout the Driftless Area.  The Midwest Driftless Area Restoration Effort includes a broad partnership of federal, state, and local government, landowners, academic institutions, conservation organizations, sportsmen’s groups, and other interested parties.
