Journal Entry   Back Golden-Cheeked Warbler Workshop Southwest Region, November 10, 2004 Print Friendly Version A Golden-cheeked Warbler Symposium and Recovery Workshop held was held in Austin November 9 and 10, 2004. The workshop featured presentations and discussion groups involving experts on the species. One of the goals of the event was to facilitate the exchange of information among all groups who are conducting research and management on this endangered songbird. Additionally, the group discussed the possible expansion of the recovery team to be more inclusive, much like the Southwestern willow flycatcher recovery team. One of the best benefits from the event was for everyone to become reaquainted or newly acquainted with others dealing with warbler issues.
