USFWS Co-Sponsors Fire Summit 2003 at Lake Tahoe

Lake Tahoe, CA Fall ?03 ? The US Fish and Wildlife Service and the California Fire Safe Council, Inc. co-sponsored Fire Summit 2003 at Lake Tahoe. The Council exceeded the expectations of many of the participants. Fire Safe Councils from throughout California attended and displayed their projects concerning the National Fire Plan.

Evening presentations centered on the continued efforts of the California Fire Organizations to highlight their completed projects and accomplished goals concerning the National Fire Plan effort. In addition awards were distributed to Fire Safe Councils and individuals that accomplished these goals.
