Advanced Scientific Computing Research

This program funds research in applied math, computer science, computational science, and computer networking. It also provides computing networks and high-performance computer facilities primarily for the use of Office of Science research programs.

  • Engage advisory panel in an assessment of the the strategic priorities for the program, focusing on the balance between "core" research and supercomputing hardware investments.
  • Implementing action plans for improving program management in response to past expert reviews.
