Watch Hill Ferry Terminal - Patchogue

Small passenger ferry at the dock.
The Watch Hill Ferry Terminal includes on-site parking. Passenger ferries provide seasonal access from Patchogue (on Long Island, New York) to Watch Hill on Fire Island.

Located at the head of the Patchogue River, the Watch Hill Ferry Terminal is a key component of the transportation complex for Fire Island National Seashore. From this terminal, seasonal passenger ferry service is provided to Watch Hill and to Barrett Beach

Planning for the design and construction of a new mainland ferry terminal and visitor contact facility has been underway. A new Patchogue Ferry Terminal—which will replace the old shelter—is expected to be completed by late 2009, and serve as one of the anchors for the Village of Patchogue's riverfront improvements.

Fire Island National Seashore park headquarters is located nearby in Patchogue, at 120 Laurel Street.
