Natural Areas

From its conception, designers of the campus were dedicated to having as much of the natural environment remain intact as possible. Ten acres of "dedicated open space" exist and nearly 75% of the campus will always be left forested. From the early decision to re-route the original road around a 100-year-old oak tree to the engineering that treats 100% of storm water on site, designers worked to create a green campus that would have as little impact on the natural areas as possible.
