How to Use BuyEnergyEfficient.org
If you don't already know the product you want, or just want to educate
yourself a little before purchasing a new product, visit our learning
center for energy efficient ideas. A link is located in the
upper right hand section of the website. In addition, we offer
products that can lower your environmental footprint and save you money
as well. Environmentally responsible products make for an energy
efficient home and a healthier world both for us as individuals and
for our environment. This extends not just to the light bulbs
you install but to the lifestyle choices we all make. That is
why you will see composters that lower landfill needs and reduce the
energy needed to get waste to the landfill as well as CFL or LED light
bulbs. At BuyEnergyEfficient.org we try to look beyond the normal
approaches and adopt a lifestyle approach to energy efficiency and environmental
responsibility.
With the United States government renewing its commitment to energy
efficiency now has never been a better time to improve your energy efficiency.
New tax breaks for insulation, hot water heaters, windows and other
energy saving improvements makes this a great time to begin planning
improvements to your home.
BuyEnergyEfficient.org is dedicated to doing what we can to reduce that
waste. Consider the benefits that occur when you buy energy efficient
products. Energy efficient choices bring you the feeling of knowing
you are doing the right thing for the environment and often saving you
money as well. Everyone wins when you buy energy efficient.
How to Reduce Your Pool’s Energy Costs This Summer
Those with pools are all too familiar with the hike in the energy bills
when it’s time to open the pool. Swimming pools can be expensive
to heat and maintain and in trying times it’s the luxuries that
are often sacrificed first. But don’t give up the pool just yet!
Owning a more energy efficient pool will help the greatly reduce the
costs spent on keeping the pool warm this 2009 summer.
Pools can have three types of heaters: gas, heat pump, or solar. The
most environmentally friendly and cost effective of these options is
a solar water heater. Solar water heaters are installed in the attic
of the home and use the sun to heat the water, solar cells can also
collect energy to operate the pump to move the heated water. Solar water
heaters cost almost nothing to run.
