Southwest U.S. Change Detection Images: Reno and Lake Tahoe, Nevada

DRY LAKE

The time period of the these two images corresponds to the beginning andculmination of drought conditions in the western U.S. The area of yellowin the change image corresponds to a broad shallow lake that was full in 1986,but in 1992 the entire lake bed was exposed.
