ClinicalTrials.gov Honored

The ClinicalTrials.gov database, created by NLM on behalf of NIH, has been chosen as one of the "Top 50" programs in the 2004 Innovations in American Government Awards competition. The prestigious awards are sponsored by the Ash Institute for Democratic Governance and Innovation of the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University. In being chosen, ClinicalTrials.gov is in the top 7 percent of the initial applicant pool. A site visit to NLM is being held as part of the process to select the final winners.
