Research Project: Asian Citrus Psyllid Attractants and Repellents

Objective:
To discover and identify attractants and repellents of the Asian citrus psyllid with the ultimate goal of finding volatiles that could be used in a pest management program for the psyllid.

Approach:
Volatiles from plants will be screened in the laboratory for attraction and repellency using y-tube olfactometers, four-arm olfactometers, wind tunnel assays, and EAG/EAD.
