Old Faithful Inn 100th Anniversary
The Parade

A short parade started at the Lower General Store parking lot and proceeded to the front door of the Old Faithful Inn. National Park Rangers on horseback were first, followed by a Yellowstone stagecoach carrying costumed riders. Finally three yellow National Park busses carried the Mammoth School children who would later sing happy birthday. Tess Whittlesey and Schuyler Bush, in period dress, walked alongside the parade with their parasols protecting them from the midday sun.
