Yellowstone To Hold Construction Update Meetings
 
Staff members from Yellowstone National Park will be traveling to neighboring communities in the coming weeks to offer updates on the anticipated impacts of several construction projects.

The meetings are designed to provide information on the ongoing construction of the new Old Faithful Visitor Education Center, road and bridge construction between Norris and Madison through Gibbon Canyon set for 2009, Madison to Norris road work in 2010, and renovation of the Albright Visitor Center in Mammoth Hot Springs proposed for 2010.

The presentation schedule is as follows:

Cooke City, MT:  Wednesday, August 13, at 7:00 p.m., in the Cooke City Fire Hall

West Yellowstone, MT:  Friday, August 15, at 1:30 p.m., in the Community Room of the West Yellowstone Visitor Information Center

Gardiner, MT:  Wednesday, August 20, at noon, as part of the regular Chamber of Commerce meeting at the K-Bar

Jackson, WY:  Wednesday, October 22, at noon, as part of the regular Chamber of Commerce meeting at Snow King Resort
