Research licensed guides in your area and find the trip that is right for you with the Idaho Outfitters and Guides Association . There are six commercial outfitters authorized to float the East and South Forks of the Owyhee River.

For launch sites along the Owyhee River in Oregon (downstream of Three Forks), as well as more information about river safety, ethics or regulations, visit the BLM Vale site.

The BLM publishes an indispensable, waterproof river guide that contains detailed maps, photos and information about boating the Owyhee and Bruneau River Systems. It costs $10.00 and is available from the Boise District and Vale District BLM Offices.
