AIR FORCE

Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control, Orlando, Fla., is being awarded a $40,952,447 cost-plus-award-fee contract to provide for wind corrected munitions dispenser extended range system design and development. At this time, $2,400,000 of the funds has been obligated. This work will be complete March 2007. Solicitation began January 2003, and negotiations were completed May 2003. The Air Armament Center, Eglin Air Force Base, Fla., is the contracting activity (F08635-03-C-0018).

Honeywell International Inc., Plymouth, Minn., is being awarded a $34,645,778 contract for the Capital Expansion Project, which provides capitalization funds for radiation hardened microelectronics production facilities. This acquisition seeks to establish a domestic prototype manufacturing capability to produce 0.25 micron (and ultimately 0.15 micron) radiation hardened electronic devices under the authority of Title III of the Defense Production Act (50 U.S.C. App. 2061 et seq.). At this time, $21,689,533 of the funds has been obligated. This work will be complete February 2005. Solicitations began August 2002, and negotiations were completed May 2003. The Air Force Research Laboratory, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33615-02-9-5325-P00002).

Engineered Arresting Systems Corp., Aston, Pa., was awarded on June 2, 2003, a $27,951,819 firm-fixed-price contract for the requirement of 12 barrier aircraft arresting wire cable units and 32 barrier aircraft arresting systems in support of multiple aircraft (best estimated quantity is 24 each for the base period of three years and four each per option year). This contract also includes mobile aircraft arresting systems (MAAS), 34 each MAAS in support of multiple aircraft (best estimated quantity is 18 for the base period of three years and eight each per option year). This work be completed May 2003. Solicitations began January 2003, and negotiations were completed May 2003. The Warner Robins Air Logistics Center, Robins Air Force Base, Ga., is the contracting activity (F09603-03-D-0078).

Lockheed Martin Corp., Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Co., Fort Worth, Texas, is being awarded a $10,535,100 firm-fixed-price contract modification for the modification of installed Group A and Group B instrumentation on F/A-22 aircraft to support follow-on operational test and evaluation. The locations of performance are Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Co., Marietta, Ga. (33%); Lockheed Martin Tactical Aircraft Systems, Fort Worth, Texas (35%); The Boeing Co., Information Space and Defense Systems, Aircraft and Missile Systems, Seattle, Wash. (32%). At this time, $5,267,550 of the funds has been obligated. This work will be complete March 2005. The Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33657-97-C-0030).

Lockheed Martin Corp., Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Co., Fort Worth, Texas, is being awarded a $6,400,000 firm-fixed-price contract modification for the procurement of an affordability analysis to support the F/A-22 program estimate and service cost position. At this time, $3,200,000 of the funds has been obligated. The Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity.

ARMY

United Defense LP, Ground Systems Division, York, Pa., is being awarded a $14,532,590 modification to a cost-plus-fixed-fee contract (DAAE07-01-C-N030) for an award of option language for 210,000 hours of system technical support for the M88A2 Hercules program, worth approximately $30,614,723 if fully exercised. This also includes a simultaneous partial exercise of an option in the amount of $14,532,590. Work will be performed in York, Pa. (99.52%); Santa Clara, Calif. (.3%); and Aiken, S.C. (.18%), and is expected to be completed by March 31, 2006. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There was one bid solicited on Dec. 7, 2000, and one bid was received. The Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command, Warren, Mich., is the contracting activity.

Weeks Marine Inc., Covington, La., is being awarded a $7,320,637 firm-fixed-price contract for maintenance dredging of mobile river sumps with mechanical dredge disposing into the gulf open water disposal area. Work will be performed in Mobile, Ala., and is expected to be completed by Nov. 12, 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. There were 40 bids solicited on Oct. 1, 2002, and four bids received. The U.S. Army Engineer District, Mobile, Mobile, Ala., is the contracting activity (DACW01-03-C-0023).

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Sysco Food Services-Jacksonville, Jacksonville, Fla., is being awarded $11,619,880 firm-fixed-price with indefinite-quantity type of contract for subsistence prime vendor for the U.S. Navy. This contract is exercising its fourth option period. Performance completion date is expected to be June 6, 2004. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 122 solicitations, and three responded. The Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SPM300-03-D-2967).

Sidran Inc.*, Dallas, Texas, is being awarded $8,885,013 firm-fixed-price with indefinite-quantity type of contract for men's wool blue jumpers for the U.S. Navy. Work will also be performed in Brownwood, Texas. Performance completion date is expected to be June 3, 2008. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 40 solicitations, and five responded. The Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SP100-03-D-0331).
