ARMY

Raytheon Co., Missile System Division, Bedford, Mass., is being awarded $11,016,884 as part of a $14,497,885 (base year total) firm-fixed-price multi-year contract with a cumulative total of $28,997,885 if all options are exercised. This acquisition is for the Continuous Technology Refreshment of 34 PATRIOT Guided Enhanced Missiles (GEM) to GEM + Frequency Generator Upgrade. Work will be performed in Bedford, Mass., and is expected to be completed by Sept. 30, 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on June 30, 1999. The U.S. Army Aviation & Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity (DAAH01-00-D-0004).

NAVY

Digital System Resources Inc.,* Fairfax, Va., is being awarded a $11,056,124, cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for systems engineering and analysis support of Program Executive Officer (Theater Surface Combatants) combat systems. This contract contains options, which if exercised, would bring the total cumulative value of this contract to $47,012,254. Work will be performed in Arlington, Va., and is expected to be completed by December 2005. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Arlington, Va. is the contracting activity. (N00024-00-C-5130).

Northrop Grumman Corp., El Segundo, Calif., is being awarded an $8,591,593 requirements contract for 72 post-production spare structural components in support of F/A-18 (A, B, C, and D). Components include doors, duct assemblies, and bulkheads. This contract includes options which, if exercised, would bring the total cumulative value of this contract to $18,011,633. Work will be performed in El Segundo, Calif., and is expected to be completed by February 2002. Contract funds will not expire by the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Inventory Control Point, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (N00383-00-D-001D).

Project Resources, Inc.* San Diego, Calif., is being awarded a firm-fixed-price, indefinite-quantity contract for performing environmental baseline studies. The total contract amount is not-to-exceed $5,000,000, with a guaranteed minimum of $20,000. The work to be performed provides for phase I and phase II environmental baseline studies in support of the public/private venture program and at various military installations in the 26-state area under the cognizance of the Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Southern Division. The seed project value is $16,384 and is at the Toledo Navy Weapons Industrial Reserve Plant, Toledo, Ohio. Work will be performed throughout the states of Wyo., Colo., N.D., S.D., Neb., Kan., Okla., Texas, La., Ark., Mo., Iowa, Minn., Wis., Ill., Ind., Ohio, Ky., Tenn., N.C., S.C., Ga., Ala., Miss., Mich., and Fla., and is expected to be completed by February 2005. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The contract was competitively procured with 50 proposals solicited and 30 offers received. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Southern Division, North Charleston, S.C., is the contracting activity (N62467-99-D-1004).

AIR FORCE

Lockheed Martin Corp., Marietta, Ga., is being awarded a $6,709,031 option to a cost-plus-fixed-fee contract, F33615-97-C-3218, to provide for phase II research to develop a software package that can predict corrosion fatigue cracking, thus improving the reliability, maintainability, and supportability of aircraft. Expected contract completion date is Feb. 22, 2004. Solicitation issue date was March 20, 1997. Negotiation completion date was Aug. 28, 1998. Air Force Research Laboratory, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio, is the contracting activity.
