The work consists of removal of approximately 1,758,000 cubic yards of dredged material comprised of maintenance material from 85,000 feet of project channel with variable widths of 125 to 235 feet to required depths of 14 and 16 feet (below mean low tide) and two feet of allowable over-depth. The material will be disposed of in open water, confined and partially confined placement areas. Two new beneficial use sites will be constructed and material placed within these sites.
