ARMY

Alliant Techsystems, Hopkins, Minn., is being awarded a $4,965,081 increment as part of a $36,881,693 cost-plus-incentive-fee contract for the design, development, fabrication, testing and training in support of alternatives to anti-personnel mines. Work will be performed in Hopkins, Minn. (55%); El Segundo, Calif. (39%); Texarkana, Texas (5%); and Elk River, Minn. (1%), and is expected to be completed by June 3, 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 12 bids solicited on Dec. 18, 1997, and 11 bids were received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Tank-Automotive & Armaments Command, Picatinny Arsenal, N.J. (DAAE30-99-C-1010).

Textron Systems Corp., Wilmington, Mass., is being awarded a $3,844,382 increment as part of a $32,927,876 cost-plus-incentive-fee contract for the design, development, fabrication, testing and training in support of alternatives to anti-personnel mines. Work will be performed in Wilmington, Mass. (66%); Melbourne, Fla. (18%); and Waltham, Mass. (16%), and is expected to be completed by June 3, 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 12 bids solicited on Dec. 18, 1997, and 11 bids were received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Tank-Automotive & Armaments Command, Picatinny Arsenal, N.J. (DAAE30-99-C-1011).

ITT Avionics Division, Clifton, N.J., is being awarded a modification to a $30,000,000 time and materials contract (appropriation number and dollar value will be issued with each delivery order) for services and materials in support of the Advanced Threat Radar Jammer. This effort is to extend the period of performance for an additional 24 months, which includes the added value of $10,000,000. Work will be performed in Clifton, N.J., and is expected to be completed by Dec. 31, 2000. This is a sole source contract initiated on April 13, 1998. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Communications & Electronics Command, Ft. Monmouth, N.J. (DAAB07-96-D-D602).

NAVY

Northrop Grumman Corp., Military Aircraft Systems Div., St. Augustine, Fla., is being awarded a $33,990,000 ceiling priced delivery order against an existing basic ordering agreement to provide for standard depot level maintenance (SDLM) with associated over and above services incident to each SDLM for up to 17 F-14 aircraft. Work will be performed in St. Augustine, Fla., and is expected to be completed December 2000. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity (N00019-96-G-0013).
