The project will include preliminary assessment surveys, environmental assessment surveys, environmental risk assessment reports, and non-intrusive investigation including surface and near-surface sampling and analysis, etc.
Work will be performed at various locations inside and outside of the continental United States, and is expected to be completed by Aug. 26, 2002.

The MPP is a processor that operates within an open system architecture using Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) and non-development items (NDI) hardware and software and is intended to be used in submarine sonar systems.
This contract will develop and produce hardware and software for processor configurations that are based on the MPP.
Each configuration will be know as an Altered Multipurpose Processor (A-MPP).
Work will be performed in Fairfax, Va. (75%), Manassas, Va. (19%), and the remaining work (6%) will be determined at a later date.
The expected completion date is by December 1998.
