ARMY
Computer Sciences Corporation, Falls Church, Virginia, is being awarded a time
and materials with award fee contract (appropriation number and dollar value
will be issued with each delivery order) with a cumulative total of
$371,151,635 . The Program Executive Office for Command Control Systems (PEO
CCS), and Communications and Electronics Command (CECOM) Research, Development,
and Engineering Center (RDEC) Directorates for Command/Control and Systems
Integration (C2SID) and for Space and Terrestrial Communications (S&TCD) are
consolidating existing High Technology engineering services and system
integration contracts into one Command, Control, and Communications (C3)
Technology, Engineering, and Integration (TE&I) support contract. This
consolidation provides a single integrator approach for effective development
and acquisition of Command, Control, and Communications systems across all
phases of the system acquisition life cycle, from concept definition through
fielding. The engineering support services obtained through the C3TE&I

evaluation and engineering support for the Night Vision Electronic Sensors
Directorate (NVESD). Work will be performed at Fort Belvoir, Virginia (70%),
and Fort Monmouth, New Jersey (30%), and is expected to be completed by March
31, 2001. There were 124 bids solicited on April 20, 1995, and four bids

Bufete Industrial, Incorporated and HJ Group Ventures, a joint venture, San
Antonio, Texas, is being awarded $7,832,130 as part of a $10,745,130 (includes
9 options) firm fixed price contract for construction of the Directorate of
Logistics Maintenance Facility, Phase IV. The project includes an addition of
23,300 square feet to the consolidated shop building; a new composite repair
facility (15,500 square feet); a two-company headquarters standard design fire
station (8,400 square feet); and one-mile of test track are also included.
Site work includes paving; walks; curb and gutters; fencing and gates; parking;
storm drainage; sewage pumping station; information systems; and site
improvements. Work will be performed at Fort Hood, Texas, and is expected to
be completed by October 31, 1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end
of the current fiscal year. There were 57 bids solicited on February 9, 1995,
and eight bids received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Corps of

AIR FORCE
Lockheed Martin Tactical Aircraft Systems, Ft. Worth, Texas, is being awarded
a $9,500,000 face value increase to a firm fixed price contract to provide for
test engineering, analysis, operation and maintenance support for electronic
countermeasures testing and evaluation at the Air Force Electronic Warfare
Evaluation Simulator (AFEWS). Contract is expected to be completed March 1999.
Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There
was one firm solicited and one proposal received. Solicitation began June 1995
and negotiations were complete November 1995. Air Force Development Test
Center, Eglin Air Force Base, Florida, is the contracting activity

United Technologies Corporation, West Palm Beach, Florida, is being awarded a
$10,245,110 face value increase to a fixed price contract to provide for two
spare F-117-PW-100 engines applicable to the C-17 aircraft. The work will be
performed at Pratt & Whitney, Middletown, Connecticut. Contract is expected to
be completed January 1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the
current fiscal year. Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force
