and Income Tax Reimbursement Allowance Tax Tables
Attached are pages 12598 through 12600, Federal Register, Volume 70, No. 49,
dated Tuesday, March 15, 2005, which contain Federal Travel Regulation (FTR),
FTR Amendment 2005-02 (41 CFR Part 302 17). The amendment provides tax rates for
Federal, State and Puerto Rico and is to be used in calculating the Relocation
Income Tax (RIT) and the Income Tax Reimbursement (ITR) allowance payments for
2005.
Personal computer programs provided in prior years may not be used to compute
RIT or ITR allowance payments for 2005, programs containing the new RIT rates
must be used. Instructions on how to claim and calculate the RIT allowance are
contained in the FTR 302 17 and Financial Administration Memorandum No. 88 49,
dated June 8, 1988 and Financial Administration Memorandum No. 93 081, dated
December 28, 1993.
