DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Exxon Mobil Fuels Marketing Co., Fairfax, Va., is being awarded a $389,947,257 fixed-price with economic-price-adjustment type of contract for fuel for Defense Energy Support Center. Work will also be performed in Baytown, Texas and Baton Rouge, La. The performance completion date is April 30, 2004. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Placid Refining Company LLC*, Port Allen, La., is being awarded a $57,261,780 fixed-price with economic-price-adjustment type of contract for fuel for Defense Energy Support Center. The performance completion date is March 31, 2004. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 520 proposals solicited and 22 responded. Pride Companies, L.P.*, Abilene, Texas, is being awarded a $17,612,857 fixed-price with economic-price-adjustment type of contract for fuel for Defense Energy Support Center. Work will also be performed in Aledo, Texas. The performance completion date is March 31, 2004. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Alfab Inc.*, Enterprise, Ala., is being awarded a $16,160,821 fixed-price type of contract for pallet and mat assemblies to be used in aircraft launch and recovery for the U.S. Army and U.S. Air Force. The performance completion date is Feb. 2004. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were two proposals solicited and two responded. Hunt Refining Co., Tuscaloosa, Ala., is being awarded a $15,766,500 fixed-price with economic-price-adjustment type of contract for fuel for Defense Energy Support Center. Propper International, Inc., Mayaguez, Puerto Rico, was awarded a $13,645,500 firm-fixed-price with indefinite-quantity and delivery type of contract for desert trousers for the U.S. Army, U.S. Navy, U.S. Air Force, U.S. Marine Corps on March 5, 2003. Work will also be performed in Cabo Rojo, Adjuntas and Lajas, Puerto Rico. The performance completion date is Oct. 28, 2003. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. ARMY

Guild Associates, Dublin, Ohio, was awarded a $20,917,703.28 modification to a cost-plus-fixed-fee and firm-fixed-price contract for 44 production units of the Laundry Advanced System on March 3, 2003. Work will be performed in Dublin and is to be completed by Dec. 30, 2005. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 37 bids solicited on Jan. 17, 1997, and two bids were received. The U.S. Army Robert Morris Acquisition Center, Natick, Mass., is the contracting activity (DAAK60-97-C-9222).

HSW Engineering Inc., Tampa, Fla., was awarded a delivery order amount of $457,482.30 as part of a $20,000,000 firm-fixed-price contract for A-E Services for the Range and Training Land Program on March 4, 2003. The performance location will be determined with each delivery order, and is to be completed by Jan. 13, 2008. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were six bids solicited on July 19, 2002, and six bids were received. The U.S. Army Engineering and Support Center, Huntsville, Ala., is the contracting activity (DACA87-03-D-0016).

Sikorsky Aircraft Corp., Stratford, Conn., was awarded a delivery order amount of $10,005,900 as part of a $10,005,900 firm-fixed-price contract for 150 accessory gearboxes and 30 'L' main transmissions on March 4, 2003. Work will be performed in Shelton, Conn., and is to be completed by Dec. 31, 2007. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This was a sole-source contract initiated on Nov. 21, 2002. The U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity (NOO383-99-D-016N).

Fenn Manufacturing Co., Newington, Conn., was awarded a delivery order amount of $6,200,000 as part of a $6,200,000 firm-fixed-price contract for 200 helicopter hub rotors on March 3, 2003. Work will be performed in Newington, and is to be completed by Feb. 28, 2008. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This was a sole-source contract initiated on May 31, 2002. The U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity (DAAH23-03-D-0212).

United Defense L.P., York, Pa., was awarded a delivery order amount of $3,085,000 as part of a $6,170,000 firm-fixed-price contract for 92 Blue Force tracking kits and 102 A2 Operation Desert Storm Blue Force tracking conversion kits on March 5, 2003. Work will be performed in Santa Clara, Calif. (50 percent) and York (50 percent), and is to be completed by June 30, 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This was a sole-source contract initiated on Nov. 1, 2002. The U.S. Army Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command, Warren, Mich., is the contracting activity (DAAE07-01-G-M002).

NAVY

Bell-Boeing Joint Program Office, Patuxent River, Md., is being awarded a $20,350,000 modification to a previously awarded cost-plus-award-fee contract (N00019-93-C-0006) to provide additional funding for the CV-22 engineering and manufacturing development program. Work will be performed in Fort Worth, Texas (50 percent) and Ridley Park, Pa. (50 percent), and is to be completed in October 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River is the contracting activity.

Science, Engineering and Technology, Arlington, Va., is being awarded an estimated $5,727,195 cost-plus-fixed-fee-service, indefinite-delivery and indefinite-quantity contract for systems engineering research & development support services. Contractor will support dynamic battle management systems, information exploitation systems, and information system infrastructure, to include processing, dissemination, human-computer interactions, and data management technologies. Work will be performed in Arlington and is to be completed March 2006. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Indian Head Division, Indian Head, Md., is the contracting activity (N00174-03-D-0013).

AIR FORCE

Marianna Airmotive Corp., Cantonment, Fla., is being awarded a $9,650,000 firm-fixed price contract for an extension for repair and overhaul of C-5 aircraft structural components from March 11, 2003 through Sept. 11, 2003. Marianna Airmotive will perform this effort in Cantonment. The Warner Robins Air Logistics Center, Robins Air Force Base, Ga., is the contracting activity (F41608-95-D-1280-P00042).
