CONTRACTS

 

ARMY

 

            Evergreene Construction, Salt Lake City, Utah, was awarded on Sept. 26, 2003, a delivery order amount of $32,961,858 as part of a $135,000,000 construction contract for replacement of family housing.  Work will be performed at Whiteman Air Force Base, Mo., and is expected to be completed by April 19, 2004.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  There were an unknown number of bids solicited via the World Wide Web on Aug. 19, 2003, and nine bids were received.  The U.S. Army Engineer District, Kansas City, Mo., is the contracting activity (DACA41-03-D-0014).

 

            Watterson/Davis (Joint Venture), Anchorage, Alaska, was awarded on Sept. 29, 2003, a delivery order amount of $11,025,127 as part of an $11,025,127 firm-fixed-price contract for construction of the Battalion Headquarters.  Work will be performed at Fort Wainwright, Alaska, and is expected to be completed by Oct. 1, 2004.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  There were four bids solicited on Aug. 15, 2003, and two bids were received.  The U.S. Army Engineer District, Anchorage, Alaska, is the contracting activity (DACA85-02-D-0011).

 

            RKJ Construction Inc., Lampasas, Texas, was awarded on Sept. 29, 2003, a delivery order amount of $6,193,488 as part of a $6,193,488 firm-fixed-price contract for renovation of the Harmon Drive/Main Gate.  Work will be performed at Randolph Air Force Base, Texas, and is expected to be completed by Feb. 8, 2005.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  This was a sole source contract initiated on Sept. 29, 2003.  The U.S. Army Engineer District, Fort Worth, Texas, is the contracting activity (DACA63-02-D-0013).

 

            AAI Corp., Hunt Valley, Md., was awarded on Sept. 29, 2003, a $14,995,000 modification to a cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for the SHADOW Unmanned Aerial Vehicle System.  Work will be performed in Hunt Valley, Md., and is expected to be completed by Sept. 29, 2004.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  This was a sole source contract initiated on Sept. 25, 2003.  The U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity (DAAH01-03-C-0042).

 

            Anzaldua/Garrison (Joint Venture), Farmington Hills, Mich., was awarded on Sept. 29, 2003, a $7,091,000 firm-fixed-price contract for replacement of a joint dining facility.  Work will be performed at Selfridge Army National Guard Base, Mich., and is expected to be completed by September 2005.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  There were six bids solicited on June 12, 2003, and six bids were received.  The U.S. Property and Fiscal Office, Lansing, Mich., is the contracting activity (DAHA20-03-C-4011).

 

            HydroGeoLogic, Herndon, Va., was awarded on Sept. 29, 2003, a delivery order amount of $5,706,744 as part of a $100,000,000 firm-fixed-price contract for remediation of various hazardous waste sites for national coverage.  Work will be performed in Monterey, Calif., and is expected to be completed by Sept. 28, 2008.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  There were 272 bids solicited on March 21, 2003, and ten bids were received.  The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Omaha, Neb., is the contracting activity (DACA45-03-D-0029).

 

            Ambreco Inc., Belton, Texas, was awarded on Sept. 29, 2003, a $6,873,747 firm-fixed-price contract for construction of a 204th Security Forces Squadron.  Work will be performed in El Paso, Texas, and is expected to be completed by Dec. 31, 2004.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  There was one bid solicited on July 15, 2003, and three bids were received.  The U.S. Property and Fiscal Office, Austin, Texas, is the contracting activity (DAHA41-03-C-0023).

 

            AUI Inc., Albuquerque, N.M., was awarded on Sept. 29, 2003, a $9,144,500 increment to a $9,144,500 firm-fixed-price contract for Double Eagle II Airport, water supply and transmission line/wastewater collection and force main.  Work will be performed in Albuquerque, N.M., and is expected to be completed by June 15, 2004.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  There were 35 bids solicited on Aug. 5, 2003, and eight bids were received.  The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Albuquerque, N.M., is the contracting activity (DACW47-03-C-0028).

 

            Washington International Inc., Boise, Idaho, was awarded on Sept. 26, 2003, a delivery order amount of $110,000,000 as part of a $210,460,000 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for mobilization, security, planning/project definitization, life support for contractor personnel and life support for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.  Work will be performed in Northern Iraq, and is expected to be completed by March 31, 2004.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  This was a sole source contract initiated on Sept. 25, 2003.  The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Winchester, Va., is the contracting activity (DACA78-03-D-0004).

 

            Fluor Intercontinental Inc., Arlington, Va., was awarded on Sept. 26, 2003, a delivery order amount of $102,000,000 as part of a $202,460,000 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for mobilization, security, planning/project definitization, life support for contractor personnel and life support for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.  Work will be performed in Central Iraq, and is expected to be completed by March 31, 2004.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  This was a sole source contract initiated on Sept. 25, 2003.  The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Winchester, Va., is the contracting activity (DACA78-03-D-0005).

 

            Perini Corp., Framingham, Mass., was awarded on Sept. 26, 2003, a delivery order amount of $66,000,000 as part of a $166,460,000 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for mobilization, security, planning/project definitization, life support for contractor personnel and life support for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.  Work will be performed in Southern Iraq, and is expected to be completed by March 31, 2004.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  This was a sole source contract initiated on Sept. 25, 2003.  The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Winchester, Va., is the contracting activity (DACA78-03-D-0006).
