Work will be performed in Vogelgesang, Germany (20 percent), Joplin, Mo. (11 percent), and Fort Wingate, N.M. (69 percent), and is to be completed by Nov. 12, 2005. Roy Anderson Corp., Gulfport, Miss., is being awarded a $9,995,000 construction contract for design and construction of a consolidated library and education center. Work will be performed at Fort Polk, La., and is to be completed by July 31, 2004. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. United Defense Limited Partnership, Armament Systems Division, Minneapolis is being awarded an $11,349,272 firm-fixed-price, award fee modification to previously awarded contract (N00024-98-C-5371) for the manufacture, assembly, test and delivery of a total of 44 MK 25 MOD 0 canisters for U.S. Navy and NATO allied countries - three for the U.S. Navy; 22 for Australia; 10 for the Netherlands; and nine for Norway. These canisters store the Evolved Sea Sparrow Missile for safe transportation and loadout into the MK 41 Vertical Launching System aboard U.S. Navy and NATO allied country ships. Work will be performed in Aberdeen, S.D., and is to be completed by June 2004. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.

Black Construction Corp., Barrigada, Guam, is being awarded a $6,130,000 firm-fixed-price contract for the whole-house revitalization of 44 family housing units in the New Apra Heights housing complex in Guam. This contract contains options, which if exercised, will bring the total cumulative value of this contract to $19,594,000. Work will be performed in Guam, Marianas Islands, and is to be completed by June 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured via the Naval Facilities e-solicitation Web site, with eight offers received. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Pacific Division, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, is the contracting activity (N62742-01-C-1360).

Hellmuth, Obata, Kassabaum, LP, Houston is being awarded a $45,000,000 indefinite quantity and indefinite delivery, firm-fixed price contract to provide for military family housing, force protection, commercial facilities and infrastructures. Requirements may include, not limited to (a) Title I Services: schematic designs charettes, existing building conditions plans, preparation of specifications and construction contract documents, value engineering, cost estimating, landscape and irrigation design; (b) Title II Services: construction management and inspection, submittal reviews, site visits, preparation of as-built drawings; (c) Other Services: preparing, revising and editing Air Force civil engineer publications, design guides, handbooks, and tutorials: interior design; project programming (DD Forms 1391) and requirements and management plans; renderings; installation (military base), site, utility, traffic, facility, and interior space utilization planning studies and analyses; surveys and including geotechnical, topographic, environmental, hazardous material (asbestos, lead based paint, etc.), and facility condition, utilization assessments and analysis. The Air Force can issue delivery orders totaling up to the maximum amount indicated above, although actual requirements may necessitate less than the amount above. At this time, no funds have been obligated. This work will be completed by January 2004. The solicitation began February 2002; and negotiations were completed June 2002.
