McDonnell Douglas Corp., a wholly owned subsidiary of the Boeing Co., St. Louis, Mo., is being awarded a $96,714,981 modification to a previously awarded advanced acquisition contract (N00019-01-C-0267) for definitization and conversion to a firm-fixed-price, fixed-priced-incentive contract for the fiscal year 2002 procurement of six T-45 airframes, 22 inboard wing pylons and 24 months of sustaining engineering. Work will be performed in St. Louis, Mo. (52%), and Warton, Lancashire, England (48%), and is expected to be completed by September 2004. W.R. Systems Ltd.*, Fairfax, Va., is being awarded a $23,796,608 indefinite-delivery and indefinite-quantity, cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for navigation systems support services to the Space and Naval Warfare (SPAWAR) Systems Center Charleston's Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance and Navigation Division. Services include in-service engineering, design development, test and evaluation, configuration management, integrated logistics support, technical documentation and data management, acquisition and prototype development. Services will also include reliability, maintainability and availability, failure analysis, training, technical support, land-based test facilities, installations, field services, shipboard navigation systems certifications and depot repair. The work will also provide cannibalization of equipment such as AN/WSN-1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, 7A and 7B navigation systems, IP-1746/7 control display units, sonar velocity logs, peripheral navigation aids and related test equipment. This contract contains options which, if exercised, will bring the total cumulative value of the contract to $149,191,443. Work will be performed in Norfolk, Va., and aboard U.S. Navy ships, submarines, small craft and shore facilities and is expected to be completed by June 2003. Schafer Corp., Chelmsford, Mass., is being awarded a $6,629,362 cost-plus-fixed-fee, indefinite-delivery and indefinite-quantity (completion), service contract for science and technology support services for the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA). Services will include planning, monitoring, data collection and analysis, system analysis, evaluation, assessment and documentation of the Information Exploitation Office (IXO). Raytheon Systems Co., El Segundo, Calif., is being a $45,000,000 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to provide for engineering and technical services required to support the development of operational flight programs for the AN/APG-63/70/70I/70S/63/(v) 1 and APG-180 radar systems and the resolution of reliability and maintainability issues for the AN/APG-63/70/70I/70S/(v) 1 and APG-180 radar systems and other similar radar systems and other F-15 non-radar avionics. The Air Force can issue orders totaling up to maximum amount indicated above, although actual requirements may necessitate less than the above amount. The location of performance is Robins Air Force Base, Ga. At this time, $45,000,000 of the funds has been obligated. This work will be completed by May 2007.
